Ashley Merrill founded Lunya in Los Angeles in 2014 after becoming a new mother and realizing that women's sleepwear — one of the most used categories in a woman's wardrobe — was either frumpy, cheaply made, or completely impractical. A serial entrepreneur and Forbes 30 Under 30 alum, she built Lunya around a question: what would sleepwear look like if it was designed by a woman, for a woman who lives in her clothes? Her answer became a brand synonymous with the modern, thoughtful woman who refuses to compromise even at home.
