Lori Coulter co-founded Summersalt in St. Louis, Missouri in 2017 with a data-driven approach to swimwear nobody had tried before: they analyzed 1.5 million body measurements to design suits that actually fit a range of real women's bodies. Lori, a veteran of the fashion and retail industry, and Reshma, a tech and operations executive, brought complementary skill sets to a market dominated by brands that prioritized aesthetics over fit. Summersalt has since expanded into travel apparel, loungewear, and activewear.
